Author: Edwar El-Kharrat<br/><br/>إدوار الخراط كاتب مصري ولد بالإسكندرية في 16 مارس عام 1926 في عائلة قبطية أصلها من الصعيد، حصل على ليسانس الحقوق من جامعة الإسكندرية عام 1946م.<br/><br/>ينقسم الكتاب الى قسمين هما: تاملات و دراسات/ و ايماءات و عبرهما يتناول ادوارد الخراط الظاهرة السيريالية في الفن التشكيلي المصري و العالمي معا، كاشفا عن افاق جديدة في علاقة تيارات الحداثة الغربية بالتراث المصري و العربي، على حد سواء، و كيف قامت مجموعة من الفنانين المصريين امثال رمسيس يونان و احمد مرسي و فؤاد كامل و غيرهم بتطوير الرسوم الشعبية المصرية، و استنطاق العناصر الحداثية الكامنة في تفاصيله الدقيقة، لانتاج سيريالية مغايرة للسيريالية الفرنسية، سيريالية قادرة على اعاده قراءة الواقع المصري، من خلال لاوعيه الجمعي.<br/><br/>Edward El-Kharrat is an Egyptian writer born in Alexandria on March 16, 1926 to a Coptic family originally from Upper Egypt. He obtained a BA in Law from Alexandria University in 1946.<br/><br/>The book is divided into two sections: Reflections and Studies/Gestures, through which Edward El-Kharrat addresses the surrealist phenomenon in Egyptian and international visual art, revealing new horizons in the relationship between Western modernist trends and Egyptian and Arab heritage alike, and how a group of Egyptian artists such as Ramses Younan, Ahmed Morsi, Fouad Kamel and others developed Egyptian folk drawings and interrogated the modernist elements latent in its fine details, to produce a surrealism different from French surrealism, a surrealism capable of re-reading Egyptian reality through its collective unconscious. |
