500 _a The Ways we live is a series of projects written for the Interior Design programme at The Glasgow School of Art, Singapore by Nadia Wagner.
520 _aThis book contains object inventories (thumbnails) of house interiors in Singapore photographed and studied by Interior Design students in a project led by Nadia Wagner. They are sorted into loose categories that could be rearranged and further interpreted by the reader (pages are pad bound/tearable and hole-punched for this purpose). The front and back cover contain two student-contributed indexes for more complex layers of reading beyond the broad categories that structure the publication. The home is where material culture accumulates, and the living room the site where familial lives coverage. With The Ways We Live 2 our attentions have shifted from static interior scenes to the interplay between the collections of objects with which we construct our lives. Contributors include: Insyirah Najwa Zainal, Rabia Abbas, Nurhazirah Binte Mohd Amir, Sebastian Tang, Rauf Amirul Zulkiflee, Lucas Tan, Muhammad Tasyfiyuddin, Nadrah N. Muhammad Ridhuan, Rozimah Binti Anwar, Wesley Tan, K. Ambarish Naidu.
