505			_aيتناول الكتاب وضع اليهود في العالم العربي والإسلامي في فترة العصور الوسطى التي تبدأ من الفتح الإسلامي إلى قدوم العثمانيين، وكان واقع كتابته ما كتبه المُؤرِّخ مارك كوهين أن تاريخ اليهود لم تتناوله إلا دراساتٌ أكاديميةٌ عربية محدودة، ورأيتُ أن أجعل الدراسة في شكل موسوعةٍ تشمل كل ما يتصل بيهود العصور الوسطى من أصولهم وصلتِهم ببيت المقدِس واندماجهم ، بجانب تفنيد نظريات الاضطهاد التي لا زالت تحرِّك اليهودَ إلى العصر الحديث. كما عرض الكتاب التواجد اليهودي في فلسطين من واقع المصدرَيْن: الإسلامي واليهودي، والذي أثبت من واقع الإحصاءات أنهم أقليّة عبر الفترات الزمنية المختلفة.
520			_aThe book addresses the situation of Jews in the Arab and Islamic world during the medieval period, starting from the Islamic conquest to the arrival of the Ottomans. The motivation for writing it, as stated by the historian Mark Cohen, was that the history of Jews had been limited to academic Arab studies. I decided to present the study in the form of an encyclopedia encompassing everything related to Jews in the medieval period, including their origins, connections to Jerusalem, and integration, alongside refuting persecution theories that continue to influence Jews into modern times. The book also discusses the Jewish presence in Palestine based on both Islamic and Jewish sources, providing statistical evidence that they were a minority throughout different historical periods.
