520 _aSELECTIONS is a platform for the arts, focusing on the Arab World. Selections editorial presents a quarterly print magazine and weekly online publication with high quality content on all subjects related to Art and Culture. Full of world-leading artworks, exquisite brand imagery, original creative illustrations and insightful written articles. Selections Viewing Rooms presents carefully curated online art shows aiming not only to shed light on contemporary art executed by living artists, but also for viewers to buy contemporary fine art, prints & multiples, photography, street art and collectibles. Discover the previous and current shows here. Cultural Narratives foundation is an extensive collection of works of art, currently being exhibited around the world, created on a canvas size of 20×20 cm by leading established and emerging talents, aiming to reflect the culture of the region in their works. In this issue, SELECTIONS has chosen to give our readers an experience unencumbered by text, a steady stream of optical occurrences abiding purely to the rhythm of the flipping page. As the title informs, this “brainwash” is meant to induce a more immersive experience, to let one's thoughts glide into uncharted territories, rather than having printed words dictate our sensorial intake. We have alternatively included an auxiliary booklet which will serve as a referential guide in the event that curiosity takes hold and pulls you into a personal tangent. The pieces you see throughout the issue are ones that SELECTIONS has handpicked with glee from our previously published editions. Having amassed such a rich plethora of artistic production, bestowed upon us by the bountiful art network in our region, some even that were specially created for SELECTIONS, we gleaned it the perfect time to ignite this spirited rapport, between ourselves and the reader, and the reader with the art.
