Beirut Round Trips is Guillaume de Sardes' photographic journal, depicting his wanderings in and around Beirut: an impressionist two-sided journey between day and night, dream and documentary. Beirut is full of spaces in waiting. In Downtown, there's the 'egg', a modernist cinema torn apart by the war. It faces a church that is also in ruins. Its concrete structure draws a cross, as if to recall the sectarian conflict that divided the country from 1975 to 2000. Contributions by Simone Klein and Rayya Badran.
