This is an artists’ book by Nour Bishouty that traces her late father’s life and artistic practice through 130 paintings and sculptures made between 1965 and 2004 in Lebanon and Jordan. Drawing on methods of cataloguing and classification while interweaving collage, personal writing, and archival fragments, the book creates a gathering place for a life and body of work shaped by displacement and erasure. Rather than imposing order, 1—130 unfolds as a layered narrative about memory, inheritance, and the fragile ways artistic legacies endure.
