أصوات المثقفين في ثورة 1919 - الثورة والنخب والجماهير يعتبر جيل ثورة 1919 من المفكرين المصريين، الذي برز في عشرينيات القرن العشرين وامتد عطائه طوال حقبة الثلاثينيات والاربعينيات؛ أهم الأجيال الثقافية في تاريخ مصر الحديثة، فهو جيل “الطليعة” التي وجدت رسالتها في تحديث مصر. آمن هذا الجيل بان ثورة 1919 لا يجب أن تقتصر على التغير السياسي، بل يجب أن تمتد إلى الاقتصاد والمجتمع، وإلى حقل الثقافة قبل كل شيء، وأن «الثورة الثقافية سوف تحول نظام القيم بل والعقلية المصرية.
