الشوقيات لأحمد شوقي عبارة عن ديوان ضخم يجمع قصائد تتوزّع حول موضوع واحد مركزي هو الشوق والحب والحنين، بلمسات شاعرية عميقة تعبّر عن انشطار النفس بين الفراق والاشتياق، بين الحضور الغائب، وبين الأمل المعقود على لقاء محتمل. اللغة في هذا الديوان غنية بالموسيقى الداخلية، البنية الشعرية المتينة، الصور البلاغية المؤثرة، والتعبير الفخم الذي يُعدّ علامة من علامات شوقي. كما يظهر فيه تناوب بين لحظات من السعادة المرتبطة بالحب واللقاء، ولحظات من الحزن واللوعة المرتبطة بالغياب والفراق، ومع ذلك يبقى الشاعر متمسّكًا بالأمل، راغبًا في أن يُخلِّد الشوق شعورًا لا ينسى، وأن يُعبّر به عن تجارب إنسانية لا غنى عنها.

Al-Shawqiyyat by Ahmed Shawqi is a large poetic collection (896 pages) published in 2021, focusing on themes of yearning (shawq), love, and longing. The poems oscillate between the pain of separation and the hope of reunion, capturing the emotional spectrum from joy and anticipation to grief and nostalgia. Shawqi’s language here is deeply musical, structured with strong poetic architecture, rich in rhetorical imagery and majestic style—hallmarks of his poetic voice. Despite the pain of absence that permeates much of the work, there is an underlying endurance: a belief in the power of longing itself, in memory, and in the persistence of emotion as something that shapes human existence.
