In the world of architecture, the term "flâneur" is used to describe people who move through urban spaces with architectural awareness and analyze places from psychological and experiential perspectives, influenced by their design. The Iraqi architect Rifat Chadirji embodied this concept in his journeys through different cities, even without knowing the term. He observed building facades and engaged with the city as a tool for analysis and critique. After learning about the term, the writer views wandering through cities as an extension of her studies and a practical experience, enjoying the curiosity and awareness of what the city has to offer.
