Subject(s): Summary: The exhibition, created by the Historical Archive of the Biennale - ASAC, was curated for the first time by all the Directors of the six Artistic Sectors (Art, Architecture, Cinema, Dance, Music, Theater): Cecilia Alemani, Hashim Sarkis, Alberto Barbera , Marie Chouinard, Ivan Fedele and Antonio Latella. In the introduction to the volume, Cecilia Alemani underlined that "Le muse inquiete is the first exhibition in the history of the Biennale conceived at the intersection of the six disciplines that constitute its main research areas, bringing together events and episodes in the history of the Biennale with that of the twentieth century, and retracing those moments in which the Biennale and history met in Venice". The catalog traces the itinerary of the exhibition, illustrated by a careful selection of photographs and documents of archive. Graphic design and layout are by the Tomo Tomo studio (Milan).
