يعتبر هذا العمل الموسوعي من بين أشمل الأعمال التنقيبية البحثية التي اجتهدت في توثيق مراحل متباعدة من تاريخ الإبداع الشعري الشعبي في الإمارات.وضم الكتاب في جزئيه الأول والثاني اثنين وثلاثين شاعراً، ما يعني أن الأعلام الذين لم تشملهم الموسوعة سيتم استدراك توثيق أشعارهم وسيرهم الذاتية في أجزاء أخرى، وهو الأمر الذي أشار إليه المؤلف في مقدمة كتابه.وتضمّن الجزء الأول من الموسوعة ستة عشر شاعرًا. وضم الإصدار في مجمله جهداً بحثياً مهماً، إذ وثّق سيرة الشعراء الذين جمع المؤلف قصائدهم بصورة وافية، واشتمل على أسماء شعرية يكتب وينشر عنها للمرة الأولى .

A translation of the most important folk poets in the Emirates and examples of their poems, some of which are published for the first time.

This encyclopedic work is considered among the most comprehensive research excavation works that have endeavored to document different stages of the history of folk poetic creativity in the Emirates. The book includes thirty-two poets in its first and second parts, which means that the notables who were not included in the encyclopedia will have their poems and biographies documented in other parts, which is what the author indicated in the introduction to his book. The first part of the encyclopedia includes sixteen poets. The publication as a whole included an important research effort, as it documented the biographies of the poets whose poems the author collected in a comprehensive manner, and included poetic names that he is writing and publishing about for the first time.
