يقدم هذا الكتاب مجموعة من المقالات والبحوث التي طرحتها في بعض الملتقيات الثقافية والمؤتمرات (محلياً ودولياً) وأحاول جاهداً تقديم بحث مختص منها في مجال من المجالات التي يختص بها الملتقى، أو المؤتمر العام. وقد استعنت في البعض منها على بعض المعلومات من بواطن الكتب والمجلات، لأهميتها ولدقة تواريخها، والبعض الآخر من خلال كتاباتي السابقة. وقد اعتمدت في تصنيف الكتاب على أولوية الموضوعات تبعاً لأهمية تاريخها الفني وبعدها الثقافي والأدبي. فبدأت بالمنمنمات لأهمية تاريخها الفني في الفن الإسلامي والعالم، ولكون مكتباتنا العربية تفتقر لفن المنمنمات، ثم تحدثت عن تاريخ الفن التشكيلي السعودي، الذي يستحق منا قراءته جيداً، وما زلت أبحث في الكثير من خصوصياته، وتأتي في المرتبة الثالثة البحوث والمقالات التي كانت هي المحرض الرئيس في كثير من الأحيان للكتابة...".

هذا، وقد توزعت مادة الكتاب على مساحات نصية تختلف من حيث الطول والقصر واللون الإبداعي والفني. يلخص كل عنوان مضمون النص ومحتواه ومن تلك العناوين نذكر: "فن المنمنمات"، "الرموز في الفن التشكيلي"، "الفنان حامد ندا والرموز"، "الفن التشكيلي السعودي"، "الفن التشكيلي والواقع الاجتماعي 2011"، "دور المؤسسات الأهلية في رعاية الفنون"، "ملتقى إبداع الثقافي"، "لوحة المحبة والسلام"، "المشهد التشكيلي النسوي في المملكة العربية السعودية 2012"، "جزيرة تاروت أرض الحضارات"، (...) وعناوين أخرى.

This book presents a collection of articles and research that I presented in some cultural forums and conferences (locally and internationally). I am trying hard to present specialized research from them in one of the fields that the forum or general conference specializes in. In some of them, I relied on some information from the insides of books and magazines, due to their importance and the accuracy of their dates, and some others from my previous writings. I relied in classifying the book on the priority of topics according to the importance of their artistic history and their cultural and literary dimension. I started with miniatures due to the importance of their artistic history in Islamic art and the world, and because our Arab libraries lack the art of miniatures. Then I talked about the history of Saudi plastic art, which deserves to be read well. I am still researching many of its specificities, and in third place come the research and articles that were the main motivator for writing on many occasions...”

The book’s material is distributed over textual spaces that vary in length, brevity, and creative and artistic color. Each title summarizes the content of the text and its substance.
