Summary, etc. Title translation: The State’s Promises: Constants of religion or dynamics of religiosity? Whether the accusation of the (religious state) is true against the (institution) or its members (those in authority), one may not need, in order to demonstrate the contradiction of its demand itself with what is supposed to constitute its (example), let alone its clash with the (principles) of religious mysticism, to do more than look at some applications of the (movement) on the model of its (state) in Sudan, including: (1) Dr. Al-Turabi had praised, in his book (The Islamic Movement in Sudan: Development, Gain, Methodology), published in the late eighties and early nineties of the last century, this (movement) with great praise, saying that it “encompassed… society… and was qualified to unify it all within its framework, and was able to achieve in it, through its style, the most complete religiosity and the most righteous loyalty, in order to complete the comprehensive Islamic social transformation”
