The Panel discussion included Ayesha Jatoi, Ayaz Jokhio and Quddus Mirza in conversation with Ambereen Karamat. The objective for this artSPEAK was to initiate a dialogue with artists on text, and the city as a discourse, trying to understand the role of text in art. The aim was to discuss the intersection between visualizing, versus writing about a subject, and where the two meet. How text informs art and the relationship between word and image.
