مختارات انتخبها سلام الرّاسي لجيل اليوم يشرح فيها بعضًا من أمثالنا وحكاياتنا الشعبيّة. من خلال هذه المختارات، سيتعرّف الطالب إلى أقوال ومصطلحات باللهجة العامّيّة اللبنانيّة تداولها أجدادنا وكانت على بساطتها تحمل الكثير من الذكاء والتبصُّر. يحتوي الكتاب مجموعة من الرسومات الكاريكاتوريّة الطريفة والساخرة. ولمزيد من الفائدة، سيجد طلّابنا في نهاية كل قصَة أسئلة في فهم النصّ وفي اللغة والتعبير.
Salim Al-Rassi selected these excerpts for the current generation, in which he explains some of our proverbs and popular stories. Through these selections, the student will become acquainted with expressions and terms in the Lebanese colloquial dialect that our ancestors used and, in their simplicity, carried a lot of intelligence and insight. The book contains a collection of humorous and satirical cartoons. For further benefit, our students will find at the end of each story questions related to understanding the text, language, and expression.
